HOW MUCH TO FEED AND HOW OFTEN?

How much, Fegnion Rare-Nutrition should a cat eat? This will depend on many variables such as age, weight, activity level and metabolism. A general rule to go by is to feed your cat between 2% and 4% of your cat's ideal adult weight. Please keep this as a guide and not an absolute truth when feeding your cat. For an average 10 pound cat we recommend feeding between 3 to 6 ounces of Fegnion Rare-Nutrition per day, usually in equally divided meals. That would equal to about 1 to 1.5 ounces (2 to 3 tablespoons) per meal. If a cat is gaining weight, reduce the amount of food and if the cat gets to thin, then increase the amount of Fegnion Rare-Nutrition accordingly.

Adult cats only need to be fed two or three times a day. Kittens need to be fed more often because kitten's stomachs cannot hold as much food. Many kittens are extremely active, thus burning more calories and needing more food. Feeding kittens 4 or even more, small meals a day is typical, if kittens are still hungry after 4 feedings please feel free to give more. Kittens fed on Fegnion Rare-Nutrition from an early age self-regulate and only eat as much as they need. Pregnant and lactating mothers require more frequent feedings since they often consume more food due to higher caloric requirements. It is best to allow your cat to eat as much as she requires. Also if you have such breeds as a Maine Coon, Ragdoll, Pixie Bob, Chausie, Savannah or Safari portions for these cats are different since these breeds are generally much larger than your average 10lb cat.
