IF YOUR CAT HAS ONLY EATEN DRY FOOD AND WILL NOT TOUCH ANY WET OR CANNED FOOD. Begin with NOT LEAVING ANY DRY FOOD AROUND, NONE!!! Only give her a little of her usual dry food, about ¼ of a cup no more and after about 30 minutes remove what has not been eaten – do this three times a day. We need to create an organized eating pattern with your cat. Please remember do not give her any food in-between, other than the set time for feeding - with the agreed amount. After, a week or a couple of days with this method of dry-food feeding, try to feed her some canned wet food. The canned wet food has the same poor nutritional content as her last dry food, but the idea here is to get her use to feel and texture of wet food. When feeding the cat canned wet food please do so in the same manner as when it was dry food. Canned wet food about ¼ of a cup no more and remove after 30 minutes – do this three times a day. If the cat does not accept any of the wet food at all in a span of 15 hours then, sprinkle some dry food into the wet canned food for feeding, followed by decreasing dry food and serving more wet food until the cat is entirely feeding on wet food only. IF YOUR CAT HAS EATEN WET FOOD BUT ISN'T TAKING FEGNION RARE-NUTRITION. NEVER FORCE A CAT TO GO COLD TURKEY. 48 hours or more of starvation may trigger a fatty liver in cats called hepatic lipidosis. This is a serious disease and can be life threatening if left untreated. If your cat is not taking to Fegnion Rare-Nutrition raw cat food, begin to wean her off her commercial food slowly. Start by decreasing the amount of her commercial food and supplementing it with more Fegnion Rare-Nutrition raw cat food until the transition from commercial feed to Fegnion Rare-Nutrition raw cat food is complete. See below a few easy steps that might help.
The next step is to start weaning the cat off the canned food and begin transitioning the cat to Fegnion Rare-Nutrition raw cat food. Start by keeping the same eating patterns as before (3 times a day, ¼ cup and remove any uneaten food after ½ hour). Remember to blend in Fegnion Rare-Nutrition and reduce the amount of the old canned food, do this in small increments until your cat is downright feeding on only Fegnion Rare- Nutrition raw cat food. This may seem extremely overwhelming but remember this is the best feeding for the cat. A little patience and the cat will be feeding on the world best most nutritional food for cats. Bare in mind that for this to work no dry food can be given to the cat.
